Adventure journaling app

Overview

An independent self-initiated design project aiming to allow me to practice my design skills whilst also testing a potential app idea

Problem

I love to travel but seem to also have a terrible memory that hinders me from fully remembering all the great things memories made. I like taking photos but it can be difficult to sort through them all and you miss all the things you didn't take photos of

Idea

A mobile app that allows users to write travel journals along with photos and locations that help them to curate a detailed log of their experience that they can save to their profile and build a collection of

Output

A series of promotional social media posts that break down the apps features with high resolution human-centred mock-ups

Prototype

Dynamic home screen that users swipe through to see their different entries. Interactive map with pins for each location along with adventure statistics

Beautiful, minimal scroll experience with photos, diary entries and more that create an immersive story-telling experience
